ProtoxSC20 is designed to make fire damage restoration easier. The product is a professional basic cleaner that takes the heavy lifting and removes ingrained dirt and grease.

No matter how big the area or where you need to reach, you can use ProtoxSC20 because it can be applied by hand with a spray, brush, sponge or cloth. But you can also use a pressure washer or foam application.

The product is based on modern sustainable and indoor climate neutral technology that is more plant-based than before. This means, among other things, that it does not evaporate into the indoor climate, is low alkaline and free of solvents, NMP and VOCs. It also contains no perfume or other fragrances. ProtoxSC20 is non-corrosive and all ingredients are readily biodegradable.

All the ingredients in ProtoxSC20 are readily biodegradable and after rinsing with water, the product leaves no residual chemistry on the treated surfaces. Therefore, the product poses no risk to the environment or indoor climate.

ProtoxSC20 has MAL 00-1 and contains no solvents.

What is ProtoxSC20?

ProtoxSC20 is a basic cleaner that makes fire damage restoration easier by effectively removing soot, oil, grease and other types of ingrained dirt. The product is low alkaline, non-corrosive and has a low pH of just 9.9. This makes it easy and safe to work with. ProtoxSC20 is also free from VOCs, solvents, fragrances, d-limonene (citrus-based solvent) and NMP.

You can use ProtoxSC20 for all tasks and cleaning types in fire restoration and deep cleaning. It can be applied by hand, pressure washing or foam application.

Where do you use ProtoxSC20?

Can be used on all water resistant surfaces
Especially effective on hard surfaces such as metals, plastics, ceramics and most painted surfaces
Can be used on delicate surfaces such as upholstered furniture, carpets and clothing, but requires a good rinse afterwards

Preparation

ProtoxSC20 is diluted with water depending on the nature of the application:

Fire damage restoration: 5-10% in water
Foam application: 2-5% in water
High pressure cleaning: 2-5% in water
Basic cleaning: 2-5% in water
Universal cleaning: 1-2% in water

The optimal water temperature is 20-50°C, but ProtoxSC20 can also be used in cold water.

Occupational health and safety

Contact with cleaning products always poses a risk of skin drying and irritation or permanent damage to the eyes. That's why you should always use the necessary protective equipment such as gloves and face protection or goggles. This is no exception with ProtoxSC20. Although ProtoxSC20 is a low alkaline product that is not classified as corrosive, it causes severe irritation on contact with the eyes.

Application

ProtoxSC20 can be applied by spray, brush, sponge or cloth. Leave the product on for about 5 minutes, then work the surfaces thoroughly and rinse with water.

The product can also be applied by pressure washing or foam application. Apply a thick layer to the surfaces starting from the bottom up. Let the solution work for about 15 min. and rinse with water.

It may be necessary to treat heavily soiled areas with a brush or scouring pad.

After treatment

Rinse tools and utensils thoroughly with water after use.
ProtoxSC20 should be stored frost-free in the original packaging and protected from direct sunlight.
The product has a shelf life of 2 years in unopened packaging when stored correctly.
Empty packaging and residues must be delivered to the municipal hazardous waste collection system.
